Author Bio:

Patti Gaustad Procopi is a former army brat who lived all over the world before settling in Gloucester, Virginia. There, she and her husband Greg raised three daughters and numerous cats and dogs. Patti worked at two area history museums for thirty-two years. After retiring she finally had the time to do the thing she always wanted to do – write! She always loved reading and at each army post, the library was one of the first place she’d seek out.  Patti’s writing is about emotional connections, friendship and family. She was thrilled when her first novel, Please…Tell Me More  was published in 2020 by Blue Fortune Enterprises, LLC. Her second novel, I’ll Get By  came out in 2022 and her third, Stop Talking was released  in late 2023. Her first mystery titled The Murderer You Know: A Podcast Mystery is out now.  Two of her stories were also selected for inclusion in the Chesapeake Bay Writers Christmas Anthology.  Patti has had stories printed in literary journals and anthologies and one was read on a podcast. She’s given talks at area libraries and writing symposiums about how to tell your story.  When not writing, Patti enjoys photographing birds on her creek. She also enjoys gardening, yoga, and researching her family on Ancestry. There are some stories there yet to be told. She and Greg enjoy traveling and are slowing ticking off their bucket list.
