Event Details
Artists and crafters are invited to clean out their closets to trade for new-to-you supplies during our Community Arts and Crafts Supplies Swap.
Individuals who donate on the day of the swap must wait until 2:30 PM to enter.
To ensure all can benefit, we will have a one-bag take-home limit per adult- the bag should be an average sized cloth tote bag or the size of a Trader Joe's paper bag.
What to Donate:
- Yarn and ribbon--no more than one bag/box
- Fabric and felt --no more than one box/bag
- Knitting needles, crochet hooks, stitch counters, etc.
- Scrapbooking or card-making supplies, scrapbook embellishments
- Paper and cardstock for card-making/scrapbooking--no more than one box
- Beads and beading supplies
- Jewelry making supplies and tools
- Useable art paints and brushes
- Pencils and pastels
- Art paper, drawing pads
- Small wood cutouts, unpainted
- Stencils
We will not accept:
- Open house paint, aerosols or hazardous materials
- Sewing or needlework materials/tools
- Dried up art paints, markers, etc.
- Hazardous materials in your garage, including oil-based solvents or house paint
- Smelly donations, such as those smelling of cigarette smoke or pet smells, for example
- Items that are too big to fit in a standard brown paper grocery bag - items should be easily carried fit, so that others may carry them, too!
- Patterns: clothing, doll clothing, home décor
- Anything that is not directly craft related, i.e. Dollhouse miniatures, board games, toys, puzzles, etc.
- Books - please save books for our book sale!
