Have you ever wanted to know how to sew a button or mend tears in your pockets without the use of a sewing machine? Join us at the Yorktown Library to get started learning the basics of mending by hand. Attendees will learn simple mending skills – reattaching buttons, repairing seams with a backstitch, and fixing holes in clothing with a visible patch.
All materials will be provided. Registration is required for this program.
