Join Deputy Kevin Taylor from the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office for an educational program on shopping safety and travel safety. The class will go into great detail identifying the hiding risk around shopping and travel at different time of the day and year. Some of the key takeaways for citizens are parking lot safety, credit card and debit card safety, suspicious persons while shopping, preparing for a road trip, and what do in the event of a travel emergency. This class is geared towards anyone who has a driver’s license and drives a motor vehicle. Citizens are encouraged to take notes and ask questions.
