Find your historical era in 2026! Dive into historical fiction with the Yorktown Library Book Club! Every month, we’ll explore a different era of history through fiction. Join fellow readers from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month in the Yorktown Library Conference Room. Registration is encouraged, but not required. All book lovers are welcome! 

  • January: Lady Tan's Circle of Women by Lisa See (15th Century)
  • February: Witch Trial Fiction (16-17th Century)
  • March: American Revolution Fiction (1770s)
  • April: Regency Romance (Early 1800s)
  • May: At the Edge of the Orchard by Tracy Chevalier (1850s)
  • June: Victorian Mysteries (Late 1800s)
  • July: Lost Roses by Martha Hall Kelly (1910s)
  • August: Old Hollywood/Show Girls (1920s)
  • September: West with Giraffes by Lynda Rutledge (1930s)
  • October: WWII Fiction (1940s)
  • November: Cold War Fiction (1950s-60s)
  • December: The Women by Kristin Hannah (1960s-70s)
